Not only is the École des Mines d’Albi strategically positioned in close proximity to the epicenter of the world-leading, European aerospace industry and one of the major research and development clusters in France, students also benefit from living amongst the sheer beauty of the UNESCO world heritage listed city of Albi. Albi’s year round temperate climate inspires an outdoor lifestyle, with cycling, mountain hiking and rugby at the forefront. Within a 2-hour radius, students can ski the powder slopes of the Pyrénées, clear their head on breathtaking hikes or plunge into the azure Mediterranean Sea.
Eligible Students: Sophomore standing or greater with a GPA of 2.5; graduate students
Language of Instruction: Undergraduate engineering courses offered in French; graduate level engineering courses offered in English; Intensive French Language courses offered during the summer
Duration of Program: Academic year, Fall or Spring semester, Summer

Academic Credit: Transfer Credit
Grades: Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory. Courses taken at the host institution will be counted as credit hours and apply to the student's degree and graduation; however, the courses will not affect the student's GPA.
Tuition: Students pay their regular MSU Tuition
Program Fees/Student Activity Fees: Students will be subject to the payment of course fees or student activity fees levied by the host university.

Summer Program - Intensive French Language and Culture (8 weeks)
The huge majority of students reside in individual furnished studio apartments, equipped with kitchen facilities, a telephone line, television connection, high-speed Internet connection and a housekeeping service. Students have access to a free laundry service, a cafeteria, and a self-service restaurant offering fresh, quality meals at modest prices (for about € 4).
