 Founded in 1451, the University of Glasgow is a research intensive, broad based university located in the vibrant West End of Scotland’s largest city.  It has 28,000 students, of which over 7,000 are international students from 140 countries. UoG is committed to bringing the best minds together from across the globe to help support world change and make the world a better place. Over 200 clubs and societies are offered on campus to all students and courses are available for all majors.


Eligible Students:  Shackouls Honors College students who are of Sophomore standing or greater with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Duration of Program:  Semester or Academic Year
Semester Dates:
  • Fall: September-December
  • Spring: January-May
  • Academic Year: September-May
Academic Credit:  Transfer Credit
Grades:  Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory. Courses taken at the host institution will be counted as credit hours and apply to the student's degree and graduation; however, the courses will not affect the student's GPA.
Tuition:  Students pay Tuition to the University of Glasgow
Program Fees/Student Activity Fees:  Students will be subject to the payment of course fees or student activity fees levied by the host university.
